GSEB SSC Purak Pariksha 2024: The GSEB SSC 2024 results were declared on May 11, 2024. Students who cannot clear one or two subjects in the regular Gujarat board 10th exam 2024 can appear for the GSEB SSC Purak Pariksha 2024. Students absent from their regular Gujarat board class 10th exam can apply for a supplementary exam. The board will tentatively conduct the GSEB class 10th exams in July 2024.
In how many subjects can students take the supplementary exam?
Gujarat Board GSEB Class 10th exam students who are absent or failed in one, two and three subjects have scope for correction. These students are eligible to appear in the supplementary examination.
How much fee has to be paid for taking the supplementary exam
According to the Gujarat Board, students who fail in subjects 1, 2 and 3 can take the supplementary exam. A student has to pay a fee for appearing in the supplementary examination, which is subject-wise. One has to pay 145 rupees for 1 subject supplementary examination, 205 rupees for two subjects and 265 rupees for three subjects. It is to be noted here that girl candidates and disabled candidates have been exempted from supplementary examination fee.
There has been a change in the supplementary examination rules
Only a student who failed in two subjects in the March examination of class 10 and failed in 1 subject in class 12 general stream was given a chance to appear in the supplementary examination. Now according to the new rule, a student who has failed in three subjects in class 10 and 2 subjects in class 12 general stream will have to take the supplementary exam. Apart from this, the students of class 12th science will have the opportunity to re-sit all the subjects in the supplementary examination held in June-July after the March board examination. That is, all the subjects of Class 12 Science will be conducted twice by the board

- Step 4: Candidates need to download, fill and submit the GSBE SSC Supplementary Application Form 2024.
- Step 5: Print the submitted application form 2024 for further reference.
